With a financial services career spanning back to 1997, John brings a wealth of experience from roles as a Personal Banker, Small Business Banker, Financial Advisor, and Insurance Agent. His well-rounded expertise allows him to provide tailored insurance solutions that align with his clients’ unique needs and financial goals.
A proud veteran, John served 11 years in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. His service included roles as a Medic, Infantry Team Leader in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom III, and as a Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officer, culminating as Arizona’s Retention Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge.
At the heart of The Powell Agency’s operations is a family-driven approach. John works alongside his wife, Katie, who serves as the Agency’s Vice President of Operations and Relationship Manager. Together, they are deeply involved in their community and are raising their two sons with a commitment to service, integrity, and excellence.
